Affiliation and Certification
After completing all five stages, you will be required to complete ten case studies, which is approximately 120 hours, given in a specific format to qualify and receive a practitioners certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist (CH.t) issued by the California Hypnosis Institute of India. You will also have to complete an online physiology and anatomy exam, before case submission.
International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA) which allows you to practice in more than 23 countries.
Road map for trainers Roadmap to being a Clinical Hypnotherapist with EKAA
The therapist’s role is one that comes up with great responsibility. And therefore we are have a very clear road-map on what it takes to certify yourself as an Integrated Clinical Hypnotherapist from EKAA.
You would have to complete all the 5 Levels of the EKAA curriculum in totality and as an additional requirement, the participant who has completed all 5 levels will also need to appear for a written test as a step to be completed.
This written test will be in the format of objective and descriptive questions from the curriculum (inclusive of all the theory and practical application during class).
After you have completed Level 5, you would have to sign up with the institute for an internship programme that will last for a period of 1 year.
For the period of 1 year, you will be assigned a mentor who will guide you on how to integrate all that you have learnt through the 5 levels in your therapeutic practice.
Depending on your locality and your preferences, you would be assigned a mentor from our database of mentors across India.
You will start to work with clients seeking therapy as an intern with the guidance of your mentor. Your mentor will arrange regular meetings with you to help you practically apply what you have learnt through the course in your therapeutic setup.
[Note: Foreign students would be assigned mentors in India and would have their meetings over Skype.]
a) Within the period of 1 year, you will need to work with 10 different people on 10 different issues using Integrated Clinical Hypnotherapy.
b) Bring their issue to complete resolution.
c) Obtain a written testimonial from the client, of the resolution that he/she has obtained through your work.
d) Document all your 10 cases with audio recordings of the therapeutic sessions.
e) Submit it all to your mentor for approval.
Once your mentor has seen and approved all of your work over the course of 1 year, your 10 cases will be submitted to the Institute.
You will then have an interview process over your 10 cases submitted at the end of the internship. You will be interviewed on the various aspects of therapy and your therapeutic work.
When you have completed the Viva and have successfully cleared the interview, you will be certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist by EKAA. The final certification that you get from EKAA is affiliated with and recognized by the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA), the European Association for Regression Therapy (EARTh) and the Australian Hypnotherapists Association (AHA).
Post Graduate Diploma.
Once you have completed the Certification for the Integrated Clinical Hypnotherapy programme, you can choose to enhance your skills as a Professional Regression Therapist by undertaking the Post Graduate Diploma programme in Trans-personal Regression Therapies.
